No payment info is required. Create a free account to receive 20 welcome credits, upload a room photo, and start previewing new paint colors.
GoColorize AI Makeover uses Google's Gemini image-generation API. The model is configured server-side and its exact identifier is recorded with each generation, so nothing needs to be installed on your device.
The AI aims to preserve the room while visualizing your requested changes, but colors and materials remain visual estimates. Lighting, screens, and paint finish affect what you see, so always confirm important choices with a physical sample.
JPG, PNG, and WebP files work best. If you drag in a WebP, we automatically convert it to PNG behind the scenes before it reaches the Gemini API, so you don't have to preprocess anything yourself.
Most rooms process in roughly 10–30 seconds. Larger or highly detailed images can take longer, and the Studio keeps you updated while the request is running.
Use the studio to preview paint color updates, swap finishes, restyle lighting, and stage furniture or decor. Each generated variation counts as one transformation credit.
Choose a style preset or combine surfaces, a color, and custom guidance. If the location is ambiguous, use Annotate mode to place a written instruction directly on the relevant part of the image.
Upload a well-lit photo taken straight on, keep file sizes under 10 MB, and pair it with clear guidance or one of the style presets. For tricky areas such as trim or ceilings, name the exact surface and use an annotation if needed.
Try refining your guidance with more specifics such as color family, finish, or mood, add an annotation to the problem area, or rerun the transformation from your gallery history. Each successful new result uses the credit amount shown in the Studio.
Photos and results stay inside your account. We store everything in private Supabase buckets, restrict access through Row Level Security, and never reuse your images for marketing without your explicit permission.
The Studio dashboard shows your current credit balance and how many transformations you've created. You'll also see an in-app warning when your balance runs low.
You can keep browsing your gallery, but new transformations pause. Paid credit options are not available yet; their prices and terms will be shown before purchases open.
AI Makeover is optimized for modern versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox. The interface is touch-friendly, so you can choose surfaces, add annotations, and write guidance on tablets and recent iOS or Android devices.
Yes. All transformations are saved to your gallery where you can download high-resolution images or share them with clients and contractors.
Most hiccups trigger our retry logic automatically. If an upload fails or a request is rate-limited, you'll see a clear message with a retry button. Persistent issues? Send us a note from the contact page and we'll take a closer look.
